BAKDES 2K19



Bakti Desa or the acronym Bakdes is an annual event and a flagship program in SMAN 3 Bandung for 11th graders. I think the location for this program is different each year and the program location for 3’2020 is in Desa Cibereum. The program is held for 3 days from 3rd until 5th January 2019. The main objective of this program is to feel the daily life there and forming relationship between students and their foster parents.

On 3rd January, we gather in SMAN 3 and went to Cibereum together by angkot. After we arrived, we were greeted by the village head then we went to our foster parent’s house. I stayed in RT 11 Kecamatan Kertasari with my group. After that we met our foster parent and their family. We tidied some stuff until ashar. After ashar, we went to the field to play with the kids there. We played until maghrib. After maghrib, we teached the kids iqro and recite qur’an until isya. After Isya, we went back to home and sleep.

The next day, our group overslept so we don’t pray subuh together in masjid so our group pray individually. After that, our group strolled around and saw the sunrise there. Then we went back home to eat breakfast. After that we helped the villagers to do Jum’at Bersih and then we went to potato farm. After that, we went back to RT 11. That night, me and some of my classmates went to the hill dubbed “Bukit Teletubbies”.

In the last day, our class with Miss Diana went to Situ Cisanti. After that we packed our stuff and get ready to go back to SMAN 3. We say goodbye to our foster parents and took some photos for remembrance and documentations. It was really fun and memorable.

My name is Muhammad Zaki Dzunurain, usually called Zaki. I was born in Jakarta, 31st March 2002. Then I moved to Pekanbaru and lived there for like 2 years maybe I don’t know, and then moved to Bandung. I have 1 younger brother and 3 younger sister. My brother’s name is Abdullah Faiz Alghifari.
